They are suitable for both residential and commercial applications. In domestic applications, the doors can be used as an alternative to sliding doors, or old patio doors, and can open up entire walls as part of a conservatory. In commercial applications, like bars or cafes, the doors can create a glazed screen that allows maximum ingress of light in inclement weather but will easily glide to open up an entire wall in warmer weather.
The Nationwide bi-fold / sliding doors offer a choice of opening configurations to suit any applications – choose to fold the sashes internally or externally, put the opening the opening at the side so the sashes all fold one way, or in the middle to give the option of a double door. All our doors have the option of either low thresholds for unimpeded, easy access, or rebated thresholds that offer improved weather resistance. Offering reduced sightlines and square or round edge profile, all doors are available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours.
The profiles used to manufacture Nationwide’s aluminium bi-folding / sliding doors feature a polyamide thermal break that enhances the thermal performance of the profile and improves the overall U-Value. Profiles feature EPDM high quality gaskets and weather brushes to aid weather resistance and comply with the requirements of Building Regulations Document L 2010. Security is assured by multi-point lock mechanisms on main opening sashes, and shoot-bolt locking on floating mullions.

Available in a choice of colours and wood grain finishes, our BBA approved bi-fold / sliding doors can create a glass wall up to 6 metres wide and are perfect for new build domestic and domestic refurbishment properties.
