Disabled Access

Providing compliant doors and threshold for disabled access are crucial in creating inclusive and accessible environments.

Ensuring ease of entry and exit for individuals with mobility impairments, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices, low thresholds remove physical barriers, promoting independence and safety.

Part M Compliant Threshold

All of our doors are available with Part M compliant thresholds to significantly enhance accessibility. This minimal height difference ensures a smooth transition across entry points, reducing the risk of trips and falls.

We also have an enhanced range, which incorporates additional ramps where increased weather performance is required when properties are exposed to abnormal weather conditions.

Our composite door size range can meet DDA compliance standards by offering in excess of an 850mm clear opening. This ample space ensures smooth passage without any obstructions, making it easier for people with disabilities to move in and out comfortably. Our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity means that we prioritise user comfort and independence, creating environments where everyone can navigate with ease.

Low thresholds and wide door openings are essential components of an accessible design, reflecting our dedication to creating spaces that support the diverse needs of the community. Through thoughtful design and adherence to accessibility standards, we help create independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
