Recycling

Recycling plays a vital role in reducing waste and minimising the environmental impact of our operations. We are proud to operate a true closed-loop recycling process in partnership with Eurocell, a specialist PVCu recycler and our primary supplier.

We recycle 100 percent of old PVCu windows and doors removed from properties, along with PVCu off-cuts generated during our manufacturing processes. These materials are collected, reprocessed, and returned to the supply chain, helping to divert significant volumes of waste from landfill while reducing demand for virgin raw materials.

Recycled Content in Our Products

Our windows and doors are manufactured using 45–60 percent recycled PVCu content as standard, and in some systems this can be significantly higher depending on the specification. Where performance requirements demand specialist materials, we still prioritise responsible sourcing and efficient production methods to balance sustainability with technical performance.

Importantly, PVCu can be recycled up to ten times without compromising quality, and a single piece of PVCu can remain in circulation for up to 350 years. Recycled materials are used in non-critical areas of our products to maintain durability and performance. For example, 100 percent recycled PVCu is used in thermal reinforcement inserts and cavity closer products, where there is no UV exposure, ensuring consistent quality and long-term reliability.

Closed-Loop Recycling

Our advanced closed-loop recycling system is a cornerstone of our sustainability efforts, enabling us to divert over 99 percent of operational waste away from landfill. By recycling materials from both our manufacturing activities (post-industrial waste) and installations (post-consumer waste), we support a more circular economy where valuable materials remain in use for longer and environmental impact is reduced.

Through our long-standing partnership with Eurocell, more than 110,000 window frames have already been diverted from landfill. Eurocell’s recycling facilities are independently audited and quality assured through their membership of recognised industry schemes, including Recovinyl and BPF Clean Sweep, providing confidence in the integrity and traceability of the recycling process.

Giving Old Windows a New Life
